By purchasing from Peptide Works you acknowledge that you are fully aware of the health, safety and other risks involved with the handling and use of the products, and that you are assuming full responsibility in respect of the destination country's laws and regulations regarding the delivery and use of the products.
The customer agrees that they will check the destination country's laws and regulations regarding the delivery and use of our products prior to the purchase of the products.
Three separate obligations sit in that paragraph and it is worth separating them out. You confirm you are aware of the handling risks. You accept responsibility for compliance in the country the goods are going to. And you undertake to have checked that country's position before ordering, not after a shipment has been detained.
Products sold through Peptide Works are intended strictly for research purposes only, and by accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to their use in this manner. These products are not for human consumption.
In accepting these terms and conditions, customers must be associated with a body qualified to carry out laboratory research, including but not limited to a university, laboratory or other research-based facility.
Peptide Works reserves the right to carry out due diligence in assessing customer eligibility and suitability in the purchase of its products and, where appropriate, reserves the right to refuse a sale where the above conditions are not met.
Peptide Works is not responsible where products are misused for human consumption or recreational purposes, and is not responsible for any damage caused by abuse, negligence or misuse of any products.
This is the substantive eligibility clause and it is stricter than the age requirement alone. Two conditions must both be satisfied: you must be 21 or over, and you must be associated with a body qualified to carry out laboratory research. We may verify this and may decline an order. A full description of what the company will and will not advise on — it does not answer questions about the use or application of its products — is set out on the contact page.
In agreeing to these terms and conditions, the customer agrees that they will check the destination country's laws and regulations regarding the delivery and use of our products prior to the purchase of the products.
Peptide Works will not accept responsibility for any loss caused by the customer not complying with the laws of the country to which products are sent, including but not limited to any breach of customs regulations, hold-ups or seizure of goods.
In the event that a customer receives correspondence from customs regarding an order, Peptide Works will endeavour where possible, and upon receipt of a copy of such correspondence, to assist the customer in supplying relevant information to facilitate the release of the customer's shipment.
The distinction drawn here is between liability and assistance. Liability for a non-compliant import rests with the customer. Assistance in resolving a customs query is offered as a matter of practice, on the condition that the correspondence is forwarded. Shipping timescales, carriers and the shipping protection provision are published separately in the shipping and returns policy, which forms part of the terms you accept at checkout.
The Peptide Works name and logo, and all graphics, text, visual interfaces, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, photographs, sounds, artwork, music and computer code appearing on this website — including but not limited to the selection, structure, design, expression, coordination, look and feel, and arrangement of that material — are controlled, owned or licensed by Peptide Works. All rights are reserved.
Except as provided in these terms and conditions of use, no content on this website may be reproduced, copied, uploaded, republished, publicly displayed, posted, translated, encoded, distributed or transmitted in any way to any server, computer, website or other medium for distribution, publication or any commercial enterprise without our express prior written consent.
You agree to hold and indemnify Peptide Works, and our partners, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, co-branders and employees, harmless against any demand or claim, including reasonable legal fees, created by any third party due to or arising from your use of the content on this website, any content you post, submit or transmit from this website, or your violation of these terms and conditions.
